Fred the Baker Baking Company has been making hot, fresh donuts for the last 60 years. Fred has a secret donut recipe that he created with a French chef and began selling his Baking Company Donuts from the front of the shop. Fred has decided he is ready to retire and wants his love of donuts to stay alive as users experience the Donut Maker.
Donut Maker was inspired by the game, Cookie Clicker. Cookie Clicker is a Javascript game that was released by Orteil in 2013. The goal of the game is to make cookies by clicking on the cookie. Once you earn enough cookies, you can buy upgrades to help you make cookies faster. Cookie Clicker allows the user to have gameplay experience that appears to be endless.
